Notable Events at HNDE Labuduwa

EPL
(Engineering Premier League) This is a cricket tournament organized by the Labuduwa Engineering Diploma Students' Association and its affiliated sports committee in collaboration with Labuduwa Engineering students. This is held every year and all engineering students who have studied in our institution can join. Competitions are held in both male and female categories and the winning teams are awarded the EPL trophy. Also, a musical program is held at the end of the EPL every year.

PAWRA-පවුර
(Educational Program) The Labuduwa Engineering Diploma Students' Association and its affiliated educational committee, in collaboration with Labuduwa Engineering students, organize a series of mathematics seminars called පවුර for school students appearing for the Ordinary Level Examination. This seminar series is conducted every year in schools with limited facilities in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the teachers of those schools. Carrom clash
(Carrom Tournament) This is a carrom tournament organized by the Labuduwa Engineering Diploma Students' Association and its affiliated sports committee in collaboration with Labuduwa engineering students. Competitions are held in both male and female categories. The winning teams are awarded certificates by the Labuduwa Engineering Sports Committee. A musical program is also held at the end of the tournament.

PEDURA-පැදුර
(Musical Program) The පැදුර, a musical program organized by the final year students of the Labuduwa Engineering Department, is held every year. This is the largest artistic program held at the ATI Labuduwa. This is a great opportunity for the students of the Engineering Department to showcase their artistic talents and the program is enriched with many other features including dances and songs by the engineering students.

INVENTX
To commemorate 20 years of excellence, the institute organized a tree planting campaign involving the director, lecturers, and students from the 19th and 20th batches. This event highlighted the institute's commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
